Arena Guide
Built in 1969, the Roseville Ice Arena is the home
of the Roseville Area High School boys and girls
hockey teams, Roseville Figure Skating Club,
Roseville Area Youth Hockey Association. During
the summer months, the Roseville Ice Arena is
home to the Midwest College and High School
Hockey Leagues.
The Roseville Ice Arena also offers an extensive
schedule of public sessions including Open
Hockey, Open Skating, Open Figure Skating,
Skatercize, Skating Lessons (ISI Certified), and
Adult Long Blades.
The Roseville Ice Arena has a capacity of 2,000
spectators, seven locker rooms, and a
concessions stand. The ice arena is surrounded
by a 1/7th mile-long indoor walking track.

Fall Skating Lessons
International Skating Institute (ISI) recreational skating lessons are offered for beginning to advanced skaters. Students placed according to age and ability. Classes meet once per week on Tuesday evenings or Saturdays for eleven sessions. Student to instructor ratio is a maximum of 12:1. Register before September 1 to avoid a $5 late fee.

Daytime Skating School
This program offers learn to skate skating lessons for pre-school and home school children using the International Skating Institute (ISI) program. Each lesson will be 30 minutes in length, with 30 minutes of practice time. Practice time from 10:30-11am.

Adult Skating Lessons
New adult skating lessons are being offered! Classes meet once per week for 30 minutes. Class is open to beginner skaters or skaters who want to work on advancing their skating abilities. Adults are highly recommended to wear protective gear including helmets.

- The Guidant John Rose MN Oval has an inline hockey rink in the summer, including regulation size dasher boards and nets.
- The Guidant John Rose MN Oval scoreboard can be used for personal messages during events, birthdays, meetings, and advertisements.
